Last Updated on August 6, 2017 by Cassie Lyons
Orion LaserMate Deluxe II Telescope Laser Collimator helps you perfectly align the reflector optics on your telescope. This Collimator has a convenient rear view port that lets you easily collimate optics from the rear of the reflector telescope. Collimate your reflector telescope’s primary and secondary mirrors quickly and consistently with the rear-view ports bullseye target. Adjust the collimation knobs until the laser beam’s red dot hits the bulls eye. The Orion LaserMate is ideal for use with any Newtonian reflector telescope and fits any 1.25″ telescope eyepiece holder. Made with aluminum housing a wider and a 3mm barrel flange to ensure proper seating for consistent pinpoint collimation, works on Dobsonian reflectors and Newtonian astrographs as well. Made to work on telescopes with focal ratios of F5 or lower where accurate collimation is critical. However, the product is compatible with any 1.25″ telescope focuser or 2″ focuser fitted with a 1.25″ adapter. The Orion LaserMate is 4 inches long and operates on one CR2032 battery. The battery along with step-by-step instructions are included.
