Olay Fresh Effects Deep Pore Clean & Exfoliating Scrub is a foaming scrub in a pump container that has swirls of moisturizing cleanser. It has nearly microscopic beads to exfoliate and you cleanse and has a very light, fruity scent- reminds me of banana actually, but it is supposed to be honeysuckle and white tea scented. It is oil-free and comes only in a 5 ounce container. But for the price that’s a pretty sweet deal! Olay also has a handful of other products that work along with this cleanser and come in the same scent and having complementing package designs.

The Positives
This product actually works! I was quite hesitant when I purchased this wash because of how cheap it was, but once I used it I was surprised to say the least. The microbeads really do exfoliate gently without getting stuck all over your face and in all the places you don’t want it. Plus the moisturizing swirls and the cleansing portion smell amazing while also working together to really remove the oil from your face without drying you out. After washing your skin feels clean, smooth, and looks brighter than before.

The Negatives
I truthfully couldn’t think of any negatives to this product. The microbeads aren’t environmentally friendly- but most big companies’ scrubs aren’t, so pointing out an obvious about the product doesn’t seem to be an appropriate negative of it.

It removes oils while keeping your skin hydrated and scrubs off the dead cells causing your skin to be dull. I would definitely recommend trying this product, no matter your skin type. It’s a huge surprise that this product works so well, but that makes it an even more exciting product to use and to review!
