Cherokee Workwear V-Neck Scrub Top, Should You Believe Everything You See Online?
Last Updated on February 26, 2019 by Cassie Lyons
Cherokee Workwear V-Neck Scrub Top is about a 50/50 blend of polyester and cotton. This product isn’t labeled female or male, so we’ll call it unisex because that is how it fits. This product comes in 10 sizes and 36 different colors. The back length is 26.25” midway, so it fits on the longer side. There is a very conservative V to the neckline, and three pockets. There are two pockets on the right side and one on the left. This piece is machine washable and can be tumble dried on low.
The Positives
As with almost all Cherokee products, there is an extraordinary amount of colors and each coming in an array of sizes. The V-neck is high enough that nothing will ever show, but it allows you to have a looser fit around the neck without being uncomfortably low- which is definitely my favorite aspect of the top. The material is also very thin without being flimsy which is a positive for me because I am always too warm; however, a lot of people have called this a negative, I personally don’t want super thick scrubs so it will depend on your preference. And as always, I love machine washable scrubs that don’t shrink or rip, so digging that nice little benefit of this top.
The Negatives
My mind is a little befuddled on what to list here, I personally would say this is almost a flawless scrub top; however, I’ve read many other reviews with complaints on the product. Therefore, I’m going to state some of the complaints, and then my opinion on the complaint. So here we go! Firstly, many people have mentioned that the top is squared off and unflatteringly baggy. My “response” to this is I believe this shirt is unisex, so if you wanted something to fit your curves go for a female top or maybe you need to go a size smaller. Another problem people had with this product is that the material is made with too much polyester making it thin, I don’t really understand this issue- I like polyester and I like thin scrubs because I am one hot-blooded gal. Another issue is that people believe there are not small enough size options- which I will agree on, Cherokee brand is not for the extra petite and this is going to be an overall complaint for the entire brand, so you got me there haters.
So What’s The Scoop?
Cherokee Workwear V-Neck Scrub Top is machine washable, comes in 36 colors and 10 different sizes plus is a fraction of the price of most scrub brands, if that sounds good to you this may be your choice in scrubs. This specific top fits loosely and has three pockets. It’s durable, it’s comfy, I recommend it.
