Burt’s Bees Coconut and Pear Moisturizing Lip Balm Will Get You Through the Winter

Burt’s Bees Coconut and Pear Moisturizing Lip Balm is one of the many natural lip balms Burt’s Bees has produced. It advertises quite accurately because one of the top ingredients is coconut oil for moisture and pear extract for flavor. Also the famous beeswax too! This flavor comes in a single, twin pack, and even a superfruit four pack mix; plus it can be easily purchased in many chain stores- Walmart, Target, and online of course. I’m going to be honest though- Walmart is the cheapest option coming in at $2.97.

The Positives
What isn’t there to love about this product? The texture is perfect, with the solidity of the beeswax and the moisture the coconut oil provides; the end result is an amazingly smooth application. Another nice thing about this product is that if you have a tendency to bite or lick your lips (I have a huge problem with this) the flavor is subtle but not unpleasant and its 100% NATURAL. When I realized this was 100% natural, I had to take a double take. Although many companies brag about their ingredients, I always see products being 97% and even 99% natural or organic, but 100%? I never see that in chain stores, you have to go to some real fancy places for that kind of quality.

The Negatives
To be honest, this product is great. I could complain that the price is too high when compared to other cheaper brands like Blistex which often has a 2 for 1 price, but for an all-natural product I’m willing to pay a dollar or so more.

Burt’s Bees Coconut and Pear Moisturizing Lip Balm is one of many great natural products Burt’s Bees offers. It’s 100% natural and is super smooth and tasty. Being able to know what you’re putting on your body (and ingesting a little bit) is important enough to me to pay the extra dollar or so for this product over some of the cheaper, chemical filled lip balms. The smell is lovely, the texture is buttery, and it works! Enough said, I suggest this purchase- especially in the winter!
