It has a 7-amp reversing motor, 3-jaw, 1/2 inch keyed chuck, variable speed trigger, 10 foot cord, 3,000 rpm maximum, 48,000 bpm, 2 modes, and is a lightweight 4.1 pound hammer.The 7-amp reversing motor with an aggressive hammer helps push through blocks of wood, steel, and aluminum. The 2 modes help go from rugged hammer drilling or small diameter rotational drilling. The 1/2-in keyed chuck allows for a stronger bit retention and durability while the variable-speed trigger provides reliable control. Get less fatigued while working by holding a lighter hammer drill than others that can compare and have more maneuverability with a 10 foot cord. The Positives
The majority of the customers who have used this hammer drill have found it to be made of high quality materials and reasonably durable. Bosch’s 1.2 inch corded hammer drill has good power and is reliable; it also includes a great quality hard case to protect the hammer drill from any damage while traveling or being stored.
The Negatives
There were really only two small complaints from a couple of the customers. One of them being that a few felt that the handle could have been made better and the second complain being the depth gauge.
