The Cuisinart Griddler has floating hinges which accommodate different thicknesses of sandwiches. The 11 by 7 inch non-stick, non-removable grill plates provide space to cook two sandwiches at a time which allows for family cooking.
For some, the top browns quicker so flipping the sandwich may be needed to give it an even appearance. The Cuisinart Griddler heats quickly, but has no temperature adjustment. It has helpful indicator lights that show when the power is on and when it has reached the appropriate temperature to begin cooking.

The Negatives
This sandwich press has no temperature adjustment. Some felt the grilling surface was a little small for two large sandwiches.
