Not Your Mother’s Plump For Joy Thickening Conditioner is sulfate free, dye free, 8 oz. conditioner meant to thicken thin hair and give it the volume everyone craves. The conditioner is naturally white and has a light pleasant scent- not too floral or fruity. You have the option of combining it with the accompanying shampoo or combine with another shampoo depending on the needs of your particular hair. I personally like to use this conditioner with the Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Moisturizing Shampoo.

The Positives

This conditioner’s name says it all! It plumps each strand of hair like botox- well maybe not that crazy, but it definitely gives the hair a lift in the right direction. It also gives a nice shimmering finish without looking oily. When I use this conditioner I notice an extreme difference to when I have to use another. Compared to Bed Head’s Volumizing Conditioner and Dove’s Daily Moisture Conditioner; NYM’s Plump For Joy Conditioner gives a healthy bounce without weighing the hair down like the others did.

The Negatives

I’ve tried and failed to identify any negatives to this product. Maybe that says something about me, but truthfully it says quite a lot about this product.

Plus it truly is gentle and doesn’t weigh the hair down like many conditioners do. So if volume is your need, or even moisture, this is the conditioner for you.
