Brighten Up Your Kitchen With Rachel Ray Cooking Utensils
Last Updated on August 29, 2019 by Cassie Lyons
I’m not always one for buying brand name items just because they’re associated with a celebrity, but I may just make an exception in this case. The Rachel Ray name is one of the top in cooking for a few reasons – one of which is the fact that she actually creates products that are different from the norm, rather than just slapping her name on regular old kitchen utensils. For instance, these Rachel Ray cooking utensils include her signature “Spoonulas” which are like a one-sided spatula and spoon. You can use them to stir, scoop, or serve. Who wouldn’t love a multi-purpose kitchen tool like these?
Also, Ray’s set comes with flippers and a “Lil’ Devil” spatula, and all three items have corners that mean you can get into the edges of your pots and pans. It’s a genius idea! There are a few complaints about these items, but generally, reviewers really love them for their bright color, practicality, and quality.
The Positives
Most reviewers had nothing but good things to say about these Rachel Ray cooking utensils. Reviewers especially loved the nylon basting tool, which is apparently easier to use than your typical bristle baster and which stands up to super high heat. Reviewers also like the turners, which are sturdy but made so they don’t scratch your pans, either.
The Negatives
One reviewer complained about quality, noting that the items broke down quickly, but this was opposed to most of the others who said these are very durable utensils. Another reviewer noted that the utensils are “fat” and a little hard to maneuver because of this. If you have smaller hands, you might prefer a slimmer set.
So What’s The Scoop?
In all, it looks like Rachel Ray has done it again and come out with some excellent cooking utensils that are very versatile and have some nifty practical touches from someone who clearly spends lots of time in the kitchen. You have to love the fun orange color and the little touches, like hanging holes in the ends of all the handles. These are definitely a quality buy for the money.
