SimpleCare Piercing Spray- A Natural Healer
Last Updated on July 12, 2017 by Cassie Lyons
SimpleCare Piercing Spray is an all-natural, vegan product meant to be sprayed on any new piercing 2-3 times a day to aid in healing. The spray comes in a little metal bottle that has two different labels right now; however, both have the name of the product on it and their logo- a koi fish. The reason this product heals so well? Organic neem leaf, Dead Sea salt, organic comfrey leaf, and organic black seed all play a part in naturally promoting healthy healing in a fresh piercing.
The Positives
1. Neem leaf is a universal healer that’s known for all sorts of benefits! The benefits that are most useful for a new piercing are its antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. All of these components can be derived from the leaf of the neem.
2. Dead Sea salt is a well-known ingredient used for treating fresh piercings and some people use this substance and warm water alone for healing. Why? Because Dead Sea salt is filled with all sorts of ingredients like: magnesium- which promotes healing in tissues, sulfur- which detoxifies and disinfects, and of course sodium- which helps the cells relieve waste and stiffness.
3. Comfrey leaf is actually one of my favorite herbs for external use. It has been used for over 2,000 years in Chinese medicine and has proven healing benefits: specifically healing tissues and closing wounds- exactly what you want for a piercing- due to the main ingredient in it called allantoin. Comfrey is an external use only herb if you want to be 100% safe, so please do not drink your piercing spray!
4. Black seed is the last of the amazing ingredients to mention that are in this product, but last definitely doesn’t mean least. Black seed has so many healing properties that extend way beyond just those for keeping a piercing healthy. But it doesn’t lack in that department either sense it is known as an antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and an analgesic.

The Negatives
In all honesty this spray has few negatives. It only costs five to ten dollars a bottle and each bottle should last you the entirety of the piercing’s healing phase. The only warning I would have is don’t douse the area in the spray because the salt can cause your skin to become a bit dry. It isn’t dangerous, but if you have dry skin you might want to avoid spraying all over your skin.
So What’s The Scoop?
SimpleCare Piercing Spray is a for sure positive buy whenever you professionally get a new piercing- no matter where your pierced this is my preferred after care spray. It heals you naturally, yet well and is vegan! What more could you ask for? Nothing, it even has clean, tasteful packaging and is sold all over the world in professional body piercing shops. If you want the best opinion though, always ask your own piercer for their opinion because they know best.
